🔒 Our Privacy Policy — In Plain English
Effective date: July 2026. This is the current and only version.
Most privacy policies are written by lawyers, for lawyers, in the hope that nobody reads them. Ours is written by us, for you, in the hope that you do. It's short, because we collect almost nothing — and the little we do collect, we guard like a candle in the wind.
📥 What We Collect (It's a Short List)

Your email address is stored securely with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which is where this whole website lives. We don't copy your address into spreadsheets, marketing platforms, or anywhere else it doesn't strictly need to be.
🚫 What We Don't Do — Ever
- No analytics trackers. There is no invisible script here counting your clicks, following you around the internet, or reporting your habits to anyone. (That "visitor counter" in the sidebar? Pure decoration, in the grand old tradition.)
- No ads. There are no advertisements on this site, and therefore no ad networks watching you read.
- No selling or sharing your data. We will never sell, rent, trade, lend, raffle, or otherwise share your email address or any other information with anyone. Not for money, not for candles, not for anything.
- No sneaky fine print. If our practices ever change, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top — plainly.
👋 Leaving Is Easy (Though We'll Miss You)
Every issue of the weekly email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're unsubscribed immediately — no forms, no "please tell us why," no waiting period.
Want your data gone entirely? Write to hello@theemir.com and ask us to delete it. We'll remove your email address and any order-request information we hold, and confirm when it's done. A real person handles this within 1–2 days.
